I finally got to go to bed last night at about 9pm. I was definitely asleep before my head hit the pillow, and I slept like a rock the whole night through. Somehow I managed to stay awake through class and then the real adventure began! We rode the tube, for the first time, all the way to Piccadilly Circus and walked around the park and saw Buckingham Palace. Then we went to 39 Steps. It's a comedy based off of the Alfred Hitchcock movie. I know, you didn't know it was a comedy, right? Well, when it's a play, it's absolutely hilarious. All the characters were played by 4 actors, and the set was pretty minimal. My favorite part was definitely the shadow puppet chase scene! Outside the theatre, p.s., there were some guys pretending they could dance...oddly there was actually crowd around them, but really all they did was shake their butts and pose. Personally, I think the drunk guy in front of the fountain who was dancing and singing (if that's what you can call it) put on a much better show. Also, just FYI, if you ever go to St. James park, don't be deceived by the inviting chairs...you have to pay to sit in them.

We're having fun, but the teachers won't let us sleep...
